Instead of making a massive five hours cultural event Dwarakish for his 70 years and 50 years of film career a party thrown on Monday night was extremely notable in the career of the unforgettable Dwarakish.

The who’s who of Kannada cinema industry attended the event at Atria Hotel huge hall to wish the ‘Master craftsman’ of Kannada cinema – actor, producer and director Dwarakish.

Late in the night Ambarish and Sumalatha joined the get together and Ashok Kheney was right there for a long time. The song sung by Ambarish and Sumalatha was one of the highlight. Sudashan, Srinivasamurthy and KSL Swamee besides singing also put out the old memories on this occasion.

DWARKISH – who says there is no God? I don’t accept it. In my case it is only super power of God guided me when so many chided me. Dwarakish was told that he should live for 120 years collecting tears with this journalist was really moved. For the humorous personality Dwarakish when told there is selfishness in hoping like that, he wanted to know. When he was told that 50 years of life is assured for me, he burst in laughter saying what an idea.

The flamboyant personality – showman indeed of Kannada cinema Dwarakish says nothing happened in his life from him. It happened from the people who lived with me in the family and professional life. I remember even today V Ravichandran father N Veeraswamy and Gangappa. How can I forget KC Desai of Alankar theatre! They first got me loan to make films. I always remember Dr Rajakumar, Dr Vishnuvardhana and Rajanikanth who made my films go beyond expectations.  I have invested money on the silver screen.

SHIVARAMANANNA – For ‘Sadhakarige’ this achievement is possible. Dwarakish is always special. He is a dream merchant. He should go on doing films and people should go on seeing his films. He and audience connection could be compared to Lord Ganesha and Vyasa. Today Dwarakish is 70 and 50. In a few days I am 75 and 55 in life and profession.

MN LAKSHMI DEVI – Dwarakish is Maha Hatavadhi. Winning is always his intention. I am like a family member of his family. Let god give him 100 years of life.

SRINIVASAMURTHY – He is a boy of 70. I met him first in Ishwari Pictures. I had given a flop from ‘Hemavathy’ sitting in N Veeraswamy office. He is an achiever. Like K Raghavendra Rao, Dasari Narayana Rao have reached 100 mark and our Sai Prakash is reaching 100 very soon, Dwarakish should complete 100 films as producer.

KSL SWAMEE – RAVEE – from a few thousands on silver screen he rolled crores. He was pillar of industry and ruled it once. He grew up from charity. He was the first one to introduce steel plates on the sets for lunch. He has given uniform for all at the work spot. I have not quarreled with him since 48 years of my association. For a director he used to make him mug up script and screenplay like a tiger is tamed with stick by master. He is the first one to make film in three language – Kulla Agent…000. In Kannada, Hindi and Tamil, in Hindi it was called as ‘Chaalbaz’.

DR B SAROJA DEVI – happy birthday to boy of 70 Dwarakish. ‘Karthavya andre Dwarakish ge Prana’. I remember Bhagyavantharu days today. For one lakh set he started increasing by 50000 when people started inquiring how much he has spent. Illa Sarojamma hage helbeku he convinced me. Let Ambuja…his wife be a very Deergasumangali.

MS RAMESH – Dwarakish is University and I am a student. I saw Singapuradalli Raja Kulla when I was 8th standard. Let him get ‘Ayassu, Shreyassu’

KFCC – Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce honored Dwarakish at this moment. KCN Chandrasekhar joined the felicitation to Dwarakish.

RAMESH BHAT – I know him from black and white time. For humor Dwarakish is parallel.

RN SUDARSHAN – Dwarkish is Naa Kanda Maha Rasika. He gave me for a dance – Jayamalini, Silk Smitha and Anuradha.

AT this time it was rain of pecks for Dwarakish. First it was from Sudharani and other followed.

DR SRINATH – It was in Broadway Hotel I met Dwarakish and he was the first one to offer me beer. I am Pranayaraja but inspiration for it is Dwarkish. He hears the pains and gives good satisfaction for such people.

SUDHARANI – As a child I have acted in Dwarakish uncle film. Later I was recognized as a good performer from romantic roles only in Dwarakish uncle films. I was heroine in three of his films. Krishna Nee Kunidaga – I broke my legs thrice.

CR SIMHA – 70 Shubashaya for Dwarakish for 70. When he saw my film ‘Sukha Samsarakke 12 Suthragalu’ he fought with me and said why I did not tell him that I take up comedy roles. I was in a quite number of films of Dwarkish.

HEMA CHAUDHARY – Dwarakish banner I have acted in quite a few films. What food was offered to Dr Vishnuvardhana was given to all. That shows his equality concern.

SHIVARAJAKUMAR – Sincerity is missing today. Definitely we want it today. To this day I remember feeding bottle scene, Bangarada Manushya ‘Walking’ dialogue and suicide scene where Dwarkish uncle waits for lake water to get hot. Let Dwarakish uncle ‘Halu Kudiva Magu’ for me. I want to attend his 100 years function.

V RAVICHANDRAN – I remember Singapuradalli Rajakulla, I cannot believe that Dwarkish avaru is 70. He is smart and be happy always.
